The Maryland City County Managers Association (MCCMA) will be hosting its Spring conference in College Park on May 11th and would like to conduct a one-hour session on the topic of restorative justice.

Greetings,
My name is Nicole Aloeyi, and I am a Johns Hopkins University student. I am the treasurer for our Black Student Union and I have received a grant to bring individuals to talk about transformative justice to campus. I was seeking a presenter to speak at a virtual conference for an event at the end of February

Hi,
My name is Christina, and I am a Towson University student. I received a grant through the Communication Department to support my endeavor of hosting educational/informational workshops about the prison industrial system. I will be hosting 2-3 events this semester (Now till mid-May), although I do not have any dates solidified yet. Would you be interested in being a panelist at an event to inform students about prison from a legislative perspective? If you are interested, please respond with your availability and any questions you may have.
Thank you for your time,
Christina

Hi,
My name is Melissa Lavoie, and I am a medical student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I am wondering if Walter may be able to come and speak at Hopkins.
To share a bit about myself: I have been passionate about criminal justice reform for a long time. I help lead a knitting group in the Maryland Correctional Institution for Women, and before medical school I worked for the City of New Haven’s Reentry Initiative, advocated for drug law reform, and interned at public defenders’ offices in New Orleans and DC. I have been looking for a way to inspire interest in this issue among my classmates and faculty at the School of Medicine, and to hear Walter speak would be a wonderful opportunity to do so.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Best,
Melissa Lavoie
